Special Guests

Cultural awareness training presented by Biyang Yukul Consultants.

Biyang Yukul was founded well over 30 years ago by an Indigenous Pastor who had a mandate to change Indigenous lives and make a real impact as a church socially and politically. Biyang Yukul is owned and operated by one of Australia’s leading Indigenous Pastors, Pastor William Dumas. The family owned business is making huge waves and creating long term partnerships with christian, Indigenous and non-Indigenous organisations who want to be a part of this movement towards everlasting impact within First Nation communities.

Along with his daughter-in-law Sinead Dumas, the family partnership has worked well to establish content that is effective for all people, and can specifically target the heart of the church, to better understand Indigenous people, our political and social battles and cultural practices. Sinead has a Master of International Relations and has an independent consulting business. This was just what she needed to join her love for her people, profession and faith into one.

Cost: $5 – $30. Early bird tickets on sale now.

 

Kids Program

0 - 5yrs
There is a creche room available for parents with young children.

 

5 years and up
Kids will travel by bus with kids church leaders to nearby TABATINGA play centre. Bus will depart at 9:45am and will return at 3:00pm. Please ensure you pack a drink bottle and some snacks for your child. Lunch will be provided at the play centre. Permission slip and emergency contact details form will be sent to your email after registration.

 

COVID-19 Restrictions

With the ever-changing restrictions around Covid-19, our team will comply with whatever restrictions are relevant at the time of the event taking place regarding social distancing, singing, per person limit etc. We ask that you keep an eye on your emails in the event of an outbreak when the event may need to be postponed or cancelled.
